The rare and medicinal Jarrah honey comes into full blossom every two years, or sometimes every three years depending on the season. This remarkable honey is one of our premium products and it’s said to have medicinal properties similar to those of the Manuka honey from New Zealand. These honeys are said to have superior anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties that aid in healing and help your overall wellbeing. Jarrah honey has a rich, molases flavour with a mild odour from the unique flora that resides in the south- west of Western Australia. 
 
The benefits of jarrah are astounding and range from the cosmetic to the clinical: Studies show that when applied topically, its antioxidants support skin-cell turnover as well as collagen and elastin production; a couple of spoonfuls taken by mouth every day will keep away illness; it can be applied as an ointment to burns and scrapes.
The Jarrah honey is low in glucose, it will be slow to crystallise,  if this is the case, sit the jar in warm water and stir until it is smooth and runny again. Crystallisation happens much faster at lower temperatures.
